Brian Ambrose, a Nationally Certified Interpreter (CI & CT) was introduced to American Sign Language in 1984 while residing in Austin Texas. He worked throughout East Texas under the Texas Commission for the Deaf, Texas Rehabilitation Commission, and the Texarkana School District (1986-1989). Obtained his BS degree in Speech Pathology while working as an interpreter in Rochester NY. After owning a small agency in Rochester for 10 years, focusing on convention work in major cities, he moved to the Washington DC area working as a Staff Interpreter, Supervisor, and Manager for various agencies supervisor throughout the region (2002-2013). In 2013 Brian became a full-time Independent Contractor. In each of his positions, he has had the pleasure of mentoring others believing that we all have a responsibility to invest in our future.
